Cromatismi
The word curiosity is the driving force behind this debut album; a 'novel' sonata of 20th-century Italian music and the historical musical background that revolves around it. A search initiated by the letters of Casella and Pilati, culminating in the deep formal similarities between the Sonata of the latter and the masterpiece of Claude Debussy. And it is in the chromaticism, understood metaphorically as the difference in 'colors' and not just as musical chromatic movement, that the project finds its fulfillment: three authors united by a subtle red thread, which makes them so evidently connected to one another, amidst dynamics and sound flows that come from the same source of musical inspiration.

"Cromatismi" it is the work that has marked our transformation, a slow metamorphosis that has passed through our muscles, our thoughts, and our feelings that has led us to explore and savor a musical language interconnected in the space-time dimension, but which fully reveals the identity of those who are expressed through these works. It is the tale of different itineraries where the roads sometimes intersect and contaminate each other, where the beauty lies not in reaching a destination, but in being able to move from one road to another, losing oneself, going backwards, and meandering through the suggestions that these notes are able to evoke.
